Among the highly controversial issues in the area of dog training is the ethics of the debarking surgical procedure. Debarking surgery comprises of an operation intended to reduce the intensity of a dog’s bark. It’s most commonly practised by those with dogs who have got both a loud bark and a tendency to bark continuously.
Debarking a dog is most typically practised on really noisy and bigger dog breeds. Shetlands and collies, for example, constitute a bigger proportion of the dogs subjugated to the surgery.
